Grading policyThe grading policy is set by Pflugerville district guidelines. Major work such as projects, test, critiques/writing assignments will be under the 70% catergory. Minor assignments such as warmups, worksheets, and quick assignments will be under the 30% category.
Behavior expectations1. Attendance-students are expected to make every effort to attend classes every day. Students are responsible for work missed during excused absences and will have time to make up work as per district policy. It is the student's responsiblity to find out what work that they may have missed.
2. Rules-Students will be expected to follow all district, school and classroom rules. Students will be expected to treat students and the teachers in the classroom with respect. We will cover the rules on the first day of school and the syllabus will also list them. 3. Consquences-detention, parent contact, and discipline referrals for infraction of rules. Detention can be served, before or after school. 4. Preparation for class-students will be expected to be in class by the bell with the materials needed to start class. Those not in class by the bell will be expected to have a signed pass or go to tardy tank to get a pass. |
